Transformation and Revitalization of a former Kaufhof Department Store
The formerly closed façade is to be opened up and transformed into a transparent, walkable system of three-dimensional “boxes.” The concept is complemented by a green roofscape with modular box apartments, creating new qualities for living and shared use. For this competition entry, we developed the structural design.
