To support our team in Stuttgart, we are looking for a working student pursuing a master’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering / structural design. You will work on challenging projects in building construction, timber construction, lightweight construction, and building renovation. You will support our team in structural design, from the initial concept through to construction and detailed design, and gain insights into digital design processes, parametric modeling, and sustainable construction.

Your Tasks:

• Structural Design & Engineering: You support the development and design of a wide range of structural systems.
• Structural Calculations: You contribute to calculations, verifications and design studies.
• Digital Design: You create 3D models, drawings and structural details.
• Timber Construction & Sustainable Building: You gain insights into modern timber structures and resource-efficient construction.
• Research & Documentation: You support technical research and project documentation.
• Teamwork: You work closely with our planning team on challenging structural solutions.

What You Bring:

• Studies: You are enrolled in a Master’s program in Civil Engineering, ideally with a structural engineering focus.
• Interest: You are enthusiastic about structural design, statics, construction and architecture.
• Fundamentals: You have a good understanding of structural analysis, design and conceptual structural thinking.
• Software: You have initial experience with CAD or structural analysis software.
• Digital Methods: Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, RFEM, SOFiSTiK, Revit or similar tools is an advantage.
• Working Style: You work carefully and independently and contribute your own ideas.
