The glassy, translucent hall structure is decisively characterized by the roof structure in the form of slender parallel frame constructions made of high load-bearing glue-laminated-timber. The frame girders span the approx. 27.5 m wide field. Overall, this results in a very light and wide-span structure that is designed to withstand loads and has an optimized low overall height. The ground-floor "base" is also executed in a timber construction with load-bearing timber panel walls.
